Bodyscapes

Museum’s permanent collections symbolize the eternity of the art, as sculptural bodies of the dancers point to a brief moment of existence where human body is treated as art.

Body is a sculpture in time, appearing and disappearing through decades. Placing the human body in museums environment reflects the passage of time, which is ephemeral as the individual body, but also  eternal as the body of humankind. The term “Bodyscapes” refers to a landscape, describing human body as part of the scene, inseparable from the space it inhabits.
